Its been a really hard year for everyone and its just good to have rugby back.

Its an honour to be coaching at Romford after having numerous conversation with Stephen Barfoot and Mitchell Smith. I am full of confidence that the club have the right ambition and drive to want to progress up the leagues. I have been down there a few times and there is a great atmosphere on and off the field.

Assistant coach – Mitchell Smith

Personally I think this is a great appointment by Steve and Romford RFC. It shows the ambitions of the club and the drive to secure a coach of Shaun’s calibre.

Having shared a field with Shaun, I know first hand the wealth of knowledge he will bring to the club. This will be a great opportunity for the players to work along side someone with this experience and I hope the players take full advantage.
