England capped Ben Northfield Joins Romford

Romford can confirm they have secured the services of the very talented youngster Ben Northfield .

Been has been playing rugby at Thurrock
For a number of years , but felt the time was right for a new challenge .

We caught up with Ben today to ask him a few questions .

Ben can you tell us a bit of information about yourself ?
I’m a 20 year old business owner and part time rugby coach,

You have spoken to a couple of clubs , but chose Romford ?

Been and seen a couple of clubs before making my decision to sign for Romford, the reason for choosing Romford was the fact that the team looked competitive, and looked like they actually wanted to play together as a team, the boys seem great lads from the ones I met, and the whole atmosphere at training looked professional, and well ran,

What are you hoping to offer achieve within your time at Romford ?

My aim at Romford is to bring flair to the table and hope to fit in with the playing structure that you guys at Romford have

What attracted you to Romford ?

The thing that attracted me to the club was the fact Romford have a 9 win streak at the moment so joining a team that is on the up is going to be hard but I like a challenge and being in a competitive environment
