Ipswich v R&GP 1st XV - 28th March 2015

001 - Kick off by Teddie Duke (10) into an extremely strong wind - tghis fist half will be challenging
002 - Teddie Moves the ball out to captain Stephen Barfoot (13 but wearing 21) as Paul Webb (13) waits in line
003 - Steve turns on the gas
004 - No time long see - Jack Ford (8) drives at the heart of the Ipswich backs with full back Nicholas Reid (15) in support
005 -Scrum half Tom Cameron (9) spreads the ball wide
006 -  Flanker Jack Pearce (6) continies the move but is hauled to ground as prop Anthiny Catchpole (3) and Jack F  move in
007 - A Park driving maul
008 - Matthew Catchpole (4) plays scrum half as Dwayne Lyn (7) looks on
009 - Teddie looks to slip through the Ipswich defence
010 - Ipswich scrum - Jack f looks up for th lie of the land
011 - after much Park possession Ipswich break out using the win and score a penalty  - Score 3 - 0 after 5 mins
013 - Joe Howard (14) streaks down the left wing
014 - throws the brakes on to avoid the defender.
015 - it works as the defender slides past but Joe also looses his footing and slides into touch
017 - Matt the Catch takes clean ball
018 - Teddie pos the ball up to Steven
019 - steve hits the perfect angle and slices between the centres
020 - The Ipswich defender looks amazed as Steve heads for the line - Do you like this pose?
021 - How about this one?
022 - Or this one? - Steve crosses the line
023 - and gose for a show boating touchdown
024 - and shows his class - Score 3 - 5 after 9 mins. Conversion missed
026 - Tom and Jack P combine to stop an attack by the Ipswich 9
028 - Jack F claims the Ipswich prop as he drives to the line
029 - The Ipswich forwards continue the drive
030 - The try is given. Score 10 - 5 after 11 mins as the conversion is added
032 - Joe on another jinking run do they know where he is ging because Joe does not.
033 - Difficult to get through that lot Joe - you would need a tunnel or wings.
034 - Teddie attempts to tackle Ipswich's enormous right wing
035 - he slips past
036 - but Teddie got just enough of an ankle tap to bringg him crashing down - well done
037 - Park's right wing Perry Lock (11), shortly to be left wing, ducks and dives
038 - Ipswich's bokker 8 comes into the clutches of Captain Steve and Captain Jack
039 - Captain Jack rampages
040 - and rampages some more
041 - is hauled down but slips a deft pass out of the vback of the hand - I never knew he could be so subtle
042 - Peter O'Brien (5) collects and charges on in his own inimitable way
043 - The drive continues
044 - the ball is moved wide
045 - to Ant who sets up a ruck a few metres short of the posts
046 - Harry Dearman (2) lines up the throw in
047 - Jack P rises high too take clean ball
048 - Steve screams at Teddie for the ball
049 - It is a decoy run that Ipswich do not buy and Ross Inwood (18 but wearing 15) and playing on the right wing gets their full attention.
050 - Jack P flies again
051 - The massive winger sets off from just in front of his posts with Paul in pursuit
052 - he evades Paul's tackle
053 - And heads off downfield avoiding Teddie's attentions.
054 - He outpaces Steve
055 - On Park's 22m line Ross attempts to stop the move but the ball is moved inside to the wing forward
056 - who crosses the line and scores between the posts. Try #2 to Ipswich, Conversion added Score 17 - 5 after 24 mins
058 -  Jack p attempts to thwart the progress of the Ipswich 8 with Pate's help
059 - Ipswich's fowards attack on the right
060 - Their secod row collects the ball despit Nick's tackle
061 - It is moved to the flanker who scores Ipswich Try #3 which is converted. Score 24 - 5 after 27 mins
063 - Luke Izatt (1) maks his debut for the first team and looks to set up a recovery in Park's fortunes.
064 - Jack F claims the Bokker 8
066 -  Jack f tries to scare the scrum half with his vampire impression as Dwayne and Jack P also swoop
068 - A flying hit by Jack F on the
069 - Ipswich run in a try #4 on the left wing and score between the posts. Score 31 - 5 as the conversion is added. 36 mins played
071 - Ross takes the restart into a very strong headwind
072 - Jack p gets into his very long stride
074 - Dwayne sets off in his own unique style
075 - What is this.  Matt the Catch playing right inger
076 -  Pete shows his basic but formidable approach to breaking the line.
077 -  Unfortunatley all that results is try #5 for Ipswich close to the posts.  It is converted. Score 38 - 5 and 40 + 1 mins played.
078 - Scoreboad 38 - 5 after 40 + 1 mins
079 - Ipswich kick off the second half into the wind.  Let us hope Park can take full advantage.
080 -  Nick flies out of defence
081 - He is really motoring
082 - but good defence by Ipswich's full back halts his progress
083 - even though down Nick pops the ball up to Perry
084 - But he is downed by his opposite number
085 - Matt flies at a Park line out but not enough as the wind takes the ball into his opponents clutches
086 - The scrum half puts boot to ball and Jack looks for the charge down
087 - Harry takes another throw in
088 - But once again the wind takes it to Ipswich
089 - And yet another Park throw in goes Ipswich's way.  This wind is not a hwelp in all situations
091 -  Both Jak p and the Ipswich player seem bemused how the Hendricks look alike centre has switched
092 - Matt hangs on for dear life
095 -  Ipswich's forwards drive for the line
096 - and try # 6 is scored but not converted. Score 43 - 5 after 47 mins
097 - A finely executed tackle by Jak P
098 - Mitchel Noyce (17) substituting for Matt claims the buffoned centre
099 - Steven rounds the massive winger
101 - looks for the tackle
102 - and then sprts again
103 - Hands off
105 - keeps him at arms length
106 - strides again
108 - Hands off again
111 - Rolls out of the winger's grasp
112 - plunges for the line (no time for show boating this time)
113 - and touches down for his and Park's second try. Score 43 - 1- after 50 mins.  Is this the fight back
116 - Paul Looks to pierce the defence but is claimed by his opposite number
117 - Mitchel and Perry claim their man
118 - Once again Park lose their line out. Drat the wind
119 - Paul on another break
120 - Tom Falvey-Browne (160) joins the fray in discrete bandages not
121 - Ipswich break down the right in numbers
122 - Paul makes a desperate tackle
125 - Nick joins in but the prop scores Ipswich's try #7 which is converted. Score 50 - 10 after 60 mins
128 - Try as he might we are still not winning our lineouts
129 - Harry looks for the charge down as Park pressurise the Ipswich line
130 - Steve, i hope ipswich make their shirts out of strong material. If not this could be dangerous
131 - This time the ball flies too high
132 - Paul looks very determined
133 - Perry lines up the tackle
134 - The Welsh cogniscenti look on with displeasure
137 - Mitchel on a drive.  Must have bought his kit with Tom F-B
138 - Pete drives down the left wing as Steve and Vic look on
139 - Pete pos the ball inside as Jimi closes in
141 - Perry receives
142 - But cannot ascape Jimi's attentions
144 - Paul looks to set Pete up
145 - Nick battles to the end
149 - Tom good attempt but you will probably lose that wrestling match
150 - Pete continues in the search for a try
151 - and pops the ball up to Jack P
153 - Ross, having moved to fly half chips the ball across field
154 - Where Teddie collects on the run and heas for the line
155 - The line beckons
156 - Teddie touches down for Park's try #3 to make the score 50 -15 after 80 + 2 mins.  I could have sworn Ross converted but apparently not.

162 - and pulls out a red card for I know not what with seconds to go.  Shame.
