Romford 51 v 12 Old Dartfordians
Romford hosted Old Darts on a wet and breezy morning - after a couple of losses Romford wanted to get back to winning ways, from the start Romfords intensitity was up several notches from previous games, Connor Madden was soon on the score board with some slick handling between the forwards, Darts big forwards then for the next 10 mins put the ball up their jumpers and trundled upfield to score under the posts and take a slim lead, Romford then roared back at Darts and with the forwards winning good ball as Callum Fahy divided over in the corner and straight from the kick off Osansumi glided down the wwing before offloading to the supporting Owen Dew to score under the post ( conv Medgalia ) and go into half time leading 17-5
The second half was a more one sided affair and Romford moved into top gear and scored tries at will - Winger Timi Osansumi continued his good work and supported the forwards well to claim a quick fire brace bulldozing don the wing and running over anyone in his way ( conv Medaglia x 2 ) - the next 2 tries were scored through the middle with great support work firstly by Cameron Petrie as he beat 3 defenders to go over and this was soon followed by centre Charlie Rawlings in identical fashion
The last couple of tries were scored by winger Joseph Piercy as he found space out wide with only hos opposite number to beat before scoring both his in the corner to wrap up and much needed moral boasting victory.
