The match seemed like watching the boys of old back in action. Great pressure in the loose play, rucks looked solid and continued pressure but the forwards Gave the back room to run.

Dave running 2 tries through to be planted right between the post made the conversions easy for Stanley giving the Romford boys a 19-0 lead 15 min into the game
Brendanx2, Dave and Zak added to the score with Stan putting through some amazing corner kicks for conversion to finish the first half 40-5

The second half Maldon came back more determined and even though Romford continued scoring they never gave up... The option was presented to the team to stop the game however Maldon requested we continue. In the final moments of the game Maldon put down their 2nd tryline Zak, Olie, Freddie, Dave and Kyian all pushed over the tryline with Nathaniel delivering a fantastic job with his kicking to end the game on 78-10.
