The Romford Juggernaut continues into 2015

Romford 83 v 0 Woodford

Romford hosted local friends Woodford on a Freezing cold wet morning - with some boys away on Essex Duty it was a good chance for the rest of the squad to run off the Xmas Turkey ( and sweets )

Romford scored from the very 1st play of the day as Henry Attridge stormed right through the middle to open the scoring ( and floodgates ), this was soon followed by Winger Alex Walters scoring under the posts, No3 followed not long after with Attridge doing the hard work before feeding Jordan Roberts to score another under the posts, with Romford seeming to score at will No4 was again from Roberts, No 5 was touched down by Attridge for his second after Rian Horsman chipped across field - the 2 last tres of the half was scored down the wing as good handling through the backs set off winger Tyler Ford to dart down the touch line and score a quick fire brace to end the half 45-0 to the good ( Horsman conveting 5 )

The second half started in the same fashion with Romford seeming to score every time they touched the ball, Ford claimed his hat-trick wing another down the wing before opposite winger George Tewkesbury scored on the other side after good work from the pack secured more clean ball - No 10 went to Oewn Dew after he collected the ball inside hos own half and out paced the defence to score under the posts, with all the tries so far being scored by the backs it was about time the forwards got in on the act and after securing more ball Cameron Petrie scored under the posts for try No 11 - Woodford never gave up trying and kept Romford in their own half for a little while before a loose ball was picked up and worked down field before Tom Magedlia dived over in the corner for No 12 - the last play of the day saw try No13 being scored by Che James ( after he dropped the ball over the line in the 1st ) to make amends and wrap up and good day at the office ( conv 3 Horsman ,1 Fox )
