Romford U14's travelled the relatively short journey to Brentwood RFC for their latest game
The Sharks made an blistering start winning good ball inside their own half in the first minute and the ball was passed to full back Harry Wright who went on a great run to score Romfords first try of the season. Wing Brandan Farrant converted and the Sharks were 7-0 ahead
Rather than building on this lead Romford allowed their hosts to come back into the match and were severely punished. Brentwood had a game plan which worked successfully for them using two of their big quick forwards and their other players worked well around them.
The home team ran in four tries before half time to lead by 20-7
The second half was also dominated by Brentwood with every mistake by the Sharks being punished and the hosts ran in a further seven tries with five being successfully converted to romp to a convincing victory by 65-7
A very disappointing morning for Romford who were unable to stop their opponents
Igor Lopes played his first game for Romford
