Romford welcomed Cheshunt to Crow Lane for this weeks encounter, and it was Romford who stated the most positively pin mining the visitors back immediately. After the try Cheshunt did try to push for the line but the end of the period was called giving Park a 7-0 lead.
The second period was vastly similar to the first and again it was Romford applying all the pressure to the opposition and again Cheshunt cracked and Luke Metcalf was allowed to touch down in the corner. Romford continued to dominate but found themselves pinned back on their line for the last 5 minutes and the visitors scored 2 tries of their own to go into the break 12-10 to Romford.
As typical of friendly games this year an addition period has been added to usual regulation time of 2, 20 minute halfs, and Michael Courtney took full advantage of this extra time and scored Romfords 3rd try. Converted by Sam Slatford. But a tired Park side conceded 3 late tries to end the game 31-19 to Cheshunt.
