SOUTHEND 55 ROMFORD 0
The Sharks travelled to Southend on a cold windy morning
The hosts were a very big physical looking team and they imposed themselves on the Sharks as early as the first minute when they scored their first try
Romford never gave up and did have one or two good spells but the home team were so strong and ran in another 8 tries, 5 converted without reply
A real lesson learnt by the Sharks and despite the scoreline there were some positives from the game but they won't meet many better teams than Southend this season
Special mention for Tom Barrett who made his debut in the second half and did really well
