GREAT RESULT FOR PARK U11

Match 1
25 - 15
Parks superior rucking and early use of the ball saw both Arbi and Hadyn go over for a two try to nil lead in the first five minutes. Woodford slowly recovered their composure, but a quick tap penalty saw Arbi go over for his second of the match.
Woodford took advantage of some poor marking to run in two tries. Hadyn then returned the compliment to run in his second try with a quick tap penalty. Woodford responded immediately by moving the ball across the park for their winger to outrun the Park defence. Woodford nearly got a third, but for Arbi who ran the width of the pitch to make a saving tackle on the line. Sam W powered over the line following a fantastic ruck that resulted in turnover ball to make the game safe.

Team Arbi, Ashton, Billy C, Billy W, Hadyn, Lee, Logan, Luke, Reece, Sam W, William M.

Match 2
5 - 30
Parks development squad were caught ball watching rather than man marking allowing Woodford to use their overlap to run in 4 simple tries before half time.
Park kept it simple in the second half, with the forwards taking control, but giving away too many penalties kept them pinned in their own half.
Woodford again used their wings to run in another two tries before the forwards powered down the pitch to send Logan over for a well deserved consolidation.

Team. Anthony, Ben C, Billy W, Hadyn, Kieran, Lee, Luke, Logan, Sam S, William M

Match 3
15 - 10
Park wingers again got drawn in allowing Woodford the opening try, but the forwards overturned a ruck on their own line to allow Logan to run the length of the pitch for the equaliser. Woodford went into half time one up following a lapse of concentration by Park.
The second half was a lot more physical, and saw the Park forwards keep the ball, rucking and mauling the length of the pitch, and Ashton powering over from close range. Logan scored the winner following the forwards turning over a ruck in the Woodford half.
