Woodford and Billericay travelled to Crow Lane this morning in a triangular with the Romford boys. Romford were on good form this morning and won both their games convincingly.
First Match: RGP 5 – Woodford 2
Try Scorers: Ben Okonkwo (2), Warren Petrie, Jayden Theron, Kyian Jeffery
Romford started well wining the first half 3-0 all down to great pressure they put on the woodford boys through out the game. Great passing and team play allowed Romford to dominate the play and they looked comfortable throughout. Wood ford thought back in the second half scoring a couple of tries but Romford managed to equal that winning 5 – 2 comfortably.
Second Match: RGP 10 – Billericay 2
Try Scorers: Shayden Smith (2), Zack McClenaghan, Freddie French, Cameron Tucker, Ben Okonkwo (2), Kyian Jeffery (2), Norton Tully
Billericay struggled against Romford as the boys were on form and really pushed for mistakes and punished Billericay every time they could. The first half finished 4-2 and probably wore the Billericay boys out as they had just played Woodford before Romford. The second half saw Romford score another 6 tries, they were becoming more confident with some great tackling and Rucking proving too much for the visitors.
