Old Brentwood visited on Sunday and we're welcomed in true U8's fashion. Turkey, mince pies and erky kisses off hairy Grandma's were a distant memory as the boys got straight down to business. Old B's were defending well, but we're no match for Romford's slick passing and movement, conceding 4 tries. The pace was frantic, but Romford were dogged in defence. Showing great resilience and determination only letting in one. In the second half Romford stepped on the gas adding 7 more to Old B's 3 final score 11-4

The second half was closer as the lads eased off a bit, they were always in control though, even at half pace Romford won by 7-5. All in all a great start to the new year and impressive interplay after 3 weeks off, every single one of the lads put a real shift in, we'll done
